Percentage of Followers

Calculate the popularity of favorite tweets by the percentage of followers for each Twitter account. Analyzing the "Popular, Rising, and New" tweets, it becomes readily apparent that tweets treated as "funny" merely rise to the top because of the total number of favorites as opposed to the relative exposure of the tweet. A better idea of a tweet's popularity would be to analyze it's favorability amongst its group of followers (as in a Focus Group). Weighted percentages is the only way to do this, thereby allowing the tweeter to gain more exposure amongst his/her peers.

Agree with this. I have around 180 followers and consistently get 5-10 stars from my followers. Someone with thousands of followers may get enough stars for the leaderboard but it is from a much lower percentage of followers.
