Add a Leaderboard page for people under a certain number of followers.
Many brilliant tweets go undiscovered because the authors don't have large enough follower counts yet. By adding a low-followers leaderboard page, this would not only give these tweets a chance to be seen... but it would also help new or fresh talent gain followers by providing them some well deserved exposure. Maybe set the follower-limit to 500 or 1,000 followers... or anywhere in between.
I think this would also be beneficial to Favstar in general, because many people who have low follower counts don't bother to check Favstar since they know they have no chance of ever making it there.…

Bring back the Tweeted From Favstar page
The old page that showed which tweets were tweeted directly from Favstar was great! It helped me find new users to follow, and it got me some of my new followers and many of my retweets and favorites.

Bring back the "Tweeted from Favster" list.
I would go there to read new tweets, and to find interesting new tweeters. It was always updating, so it never got old.

bring back 3 star tweets
There is a big difference between 3 stars and 10 and there are a lot of smart and funny people who don't have enough followers to get 10. The 3 star list is a great way for them to get more followers.

Have a page of popular tweets by users who've never had a popular tweet before. (The anti-@sween)
The leaderboard tends to be full of the same people all the time, many of whom I already follow. I'd like to be able to discover funny people that AREN'T always on the leaderboard.

Synchronize with the Twitter Block feature
Please synchronize with the Twitter Block feature to prevent people who I've blocked from favoriting my tweets, and prevent their tweets from showing on the Leaderboards.
Japanese Translation:
ツイッターのブロックと同期して、ブロックした人が favれないようにしてほしい。また、ブロックした人のツイートがリーダーボードに表示されないようにしてほしい。213 votes -
make an API available
Would love to get an API available so other smart applications could leverage this really cool app.

Make a "Personal Top Tweets" Tab/Page
I think I speak for pretty much everyone when I say we dislike most of our top tweets. You should make a tab for users to enter their favorite tweets they've made

popular tweets by "strangers"
I'd love for you to create a tab/page for viewing popular tweets by people I DON'T follow. This way, I won't see tweets I've ALREADY read in my twitter stream. It would be a cleaner way to expose me to "new talent". Or at least, new to me.
Genius, right? I know!

Move Users With 50,000+ Followers Off The Leaderboard To The Celebrity Board
The current system heavily favors users with 50,000 followers or more. These users dominate the Leaderboard. I propose moving them to the Celebrity Board.

Anonymous tweet fav contest
Allow people to post tweets anonymously, on your site. People will fav tweets based on tweet quality instead of who the tweeter is. At the end of the day, identify tweeters and rank tweets based in numer of favs.

Please put a stop to One Direction taking over FavStar!
It seems at times that fans of One Direction (or even worse perhaps, their publicists) have taken over FavStar. Please, please, please do something about this! Thanks :)

Show the ratio of favorited tweets to total tweets.
That way we can see how consistently a user is putting out quality material.

Percentage of Followers
Calculate the popularity of favorite tweets by the percentage of followers for each Twitter account. Analyzing the "Popular, Rising, and New" tweets, it becomes readily apparent that tweets treated as "funny" merely rise to the top because of the total number of favorites as opposed to the relative exposure of the tweet. A better idea of a tweet's popularity would be to analyze it's favorability amongst its group of followers (as in a Focus Group). Weighted percentages is the only way to do this, thereby allowing the tweeter to gain more exposure amongst his/her peers.

Neighbours feature: People who fave the same tweets as oneself.
Similar Taste, similar followings. Shows people who often fave the same tweets as oneself, weighted by congruence. Or people with a high match of followings. If there are great similarities in taste, other favourites/followings by these/of these users would quite probably be of interest too.

Let users ignore people.
Let me ignore certain Twitterers when I'm logged in to favstar. I really don't care to see highly favorited tweets from shitmydadsays or the Jonas Brothers.

Add a second Favstar list for users
I understand Twitter only allows 500 users per list for third-party applications, but it would be great if we could have 2 Favstar lists. Lots of people use up the 500 allowed and having 1000 would be very useful. Thanks.
